About e.g.

e.g. unearths never-before-seen works from Filipino writers and artists. The works are often in their rawer form: drafts, entries, sketches–“extraneous” or “experimental” outputs that don’t otherwise “make the cut” but are now featured in the journal to stand as works of their own. Taken together, e.g. illuminates our writers and our artists, our traditions of Philippine arts and of Philippine letters, through their shared dimensions and in their constellated registers.

e.g. journal provides a home to fresh, unseen pieces of writing and artwork–cut scenes, false starts, experiments, and digressions--no less elegant, nor less refreshing, for being so curious.
