Exploding Galaxies rediscovers lost classics of Philippine writing whose revival may illuminate new stories of our time.
Exploding Galaxies is a publishing house based in Metro Manila that started in 2023 with the mission to rediscover significant out-of-print works of Philippine literature.
The press has so far republished works of fiction and food from iconic writers including Wilfrido D. Nolledo, Linda Ty-Casper, Erwin E. Castillo, Doreen G. Fernandez, and Edilberto N. Alegre.
Alongside our print books, we launched our short-form imprint, e.g., in 2026, which features contributions from contemporary Philippine writers and artists.
Our future titles will include novels in Tagalog as well as regional languages, and eventually, translations in English too. We will also continue our line of republished books on food.
